Two people dead after shooting at park north of Toronto: YRP

Two people are dead following an early-morning shooting at a park in a quiet neighbourhood in Keswick, York Regional Police say. Police confirmed just before 11 a.m. that they were investigating a double homicide at Bayview Park. YRP said they responded to the sounds of gunshots at the park just before 7:30 a.m.

Metrolinx, the regional transit agency for the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area, estimates that once the new line is done, 227,500 more people will be within walking distance of public transit and daily car trips will be reduced by at least 28,000. Ontario man who almost fell for text scam issues warning to others

An Ontario man thought he got some good news when he received a text message offering a $30 gift for being a loyal Giant Tiger customer. 'I do go to that store so I clicked on the link and it said it was a customer appreciation award they were going to give people,' Mark Martin, of Simcoe, Ont., told CTV News Toronto.
