Peel police have identified the woman found dead at a Mississauga, Ont. mansion as Jocelyn Dulnuan.

The 27-year-old native of the Philippines worked as a housekeeper at the Doulton Place residence for the past two months. She also lived at the mansion.

The victim had held other jobs within the Greater Toronto Area since entering Canada on a work permit in 2006. Her mother in Hong Kong has been notified.

"With regards to the specific investigation, this was an isolated incident and the location was targeted for a specific reason that I'm not prepared to comment on today," Insp. Norm English said at a Wednesday morning news conference.

"I do believe, though, that there was property taken from the residence."

Police did not release many details of the case and couldn't speak about cause of death.

However, authorities have suggested there may be more than one killer.

"There is certain information that the killers would know and we'll save that until the time when we're interviewing the killers," English said.

Homicide officers suspect foul play is involved in the woman's death. She was found on Monday.

Police were called to the home, near Mississauga Road and Dundas Street West, in the late afternoon.

The home, estimated to be worth $15 million, belongs to Brampton doctor Jayshree Chanchlani and her husband Vasdev Chanchlani, a businessman.

Neighbours on Tuesday said they rarely saw the couple.

"They're very quiet people," Carolyn Milton told reporters.

"I don't know if (the victim) was the live-in maid or not," said her daughter Karen Stewart. "I was here all day (Monday) and I didn't hear a thing."

Police are interested in speaking with anyone who knew or had contact with Dulnuan.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Homicide Bureau at 905-453-2121, ext. 3205, or Peel Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
