Police suspect a young woman was driving drunk when her car crashed, killing her 19-year-old passenger.
The male victim was one of two passengers in the car. The group was driving in the area of Clarkway Dr. and Highway 50 in Brampton when the accident occurred at around 3:14 a.m. Sunday.
A 21-year-old Brampton woman was treated and released as was the 21-year-old driver.
Kyla Skeete, of Mississauga, has been charged with several offences, including causing death while operating a vehicle impaired and dangerous driving causing death.
She is expected to appear in court at some point Monday.
