Police in Oakville are looking for help identifying the owner of a massive Hindu statue left in a museum parking lot earlier this month.
Halton Regional Police say an employee of the Oakville Museum arrived at work to discover a marble statue in his parking spot.
The statue is extremely heavy, about 500 lbs, three feet tall and resembles the Hindu God Genesh. It is missing its top two arms, police say.
Anyone with information regarding the owner of this statue is asked to contact Det. Sgt. Anthony Odoardi at 905 825-4747 x2215 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1 800 222-TIPS(8477).
