Police are investigating an afternoon home invasion in Markham where one resident was assaulted.
York Regional Police say they were called to a home on Isabella Street, near Highway 407 and McCown Road, shortly before 2 p.m. Monday.
Police say four suspects forced their way into the home and one resident was assaulted.
There was a report that at least one of the suspects had a firearm.
There were no reports of anything being taken.
Police said they have not arrested any suspects.
