An investigation is underway after a double shooting in Mississauga resulted in two young men being transported to hospital with serious injuries.
Police were called to two locations in the Burnhamthorpe Road West and Highway 403 area late Tuesday evening.
Officers found the first male victim inside a townhouse, while the second was discovered on a nearby street. Both individuals, believed to be in their late teens, had been shot.
Both were transported to Mississauga's Credit Valley Hospital, but later transferred to trauma centres in Toronto, according to Peel Regional Paramedic Services.
No arrests have been made and Peel police haven't released any suspect descriptions.
