There were some tense moments outside a Bolton high school on Tuesday afternoon after a teenager was attacked and beaten by someone brandishing a weapon.
Earlier reports suggested a person had been stabbed, but Caledon OPP said the victim was struck by an unknown weapon.
The incident occurred near The Humberview School, on Kingsview Drive east of Highway 50, just before 2 p.m.
The victim was taken to Headwaters Health Centre in Orangeville with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
Officers brought in its canine unit, and two young males were arrested a short time later.
It was not immediately clear if the suspects and victim attend the school.
Const. Linda Kennedy said the school wasn't locked down and area residents had no cause for concern.
Police did not comment on a motive.
