A large fire consumed the front of a home in Halton Hills, near Georgetown, on Saturday afternoon.
The blaze started at around 3:30 p.m. at a two-storey home west of Trafalgar Road and 5 Sideroad in Halton Hills.
Firefighters arrived at the scene to find the house was engulfed by flames and smoke, with fire blazing through the roof.
Water was shuttled in to the scene by firefighters who used tankers from a nearby hydrant. Crews rotated with paramedics on standby. There was also a rehab area for firefighters set up due to the extreme heat.
