A 10-week-old Doberman pup stolen in a home invasion in the Annex on the weekend has been reunited with its owner.
Carlie Ritch, a single mother, said she and her son are thrilled their pet Isabella was returned safely.
The puppy was reunited with Ritch after Toronto police arrested a suspect on Wednesday. Investigators said the media exposure surrounding the theft helped bring the animal home safely.
Isabella was taken during a home invasion on Sunday at the home located in the Spadina Road and Bloor Street area.
Police said the burglar also stole a few household goods, including a collection of Michael Jordan sneakers and several phones.
