Toronto police have arrested one suspect but are looking for a second person who allegedly shot at Loreen Small and her two daughters.
Small, the mother of slain teen Jordan Manners and an outspoken voice against gun violence in her Jane-Finch community, was sitting outside her home with her children when the shots were fired.
Police say the incident happened early Friday morning outside the family's Shoreham Court townhouse after one of the daughters rejected the advances of one of the suspects.
Nobody was hurt in the shooting.
Police have charged a 31-year-old man in connection with the shooting.
Cameron Richards has been charged with two counts of threatening death. Police are also looking for Jess Callander, 23.
