An Oakville man was killed when a Porsche he was driving hit a tree in the town of Mono, just north of Caledon.
Ontario Provincial Police say a Porsche Turbo travelling westbound on Mono Centre Road between Hurontario Street and 1st Line left the roadway, rolled into a ditch and struck a tree around 11 p.m. Saturday.
David Pilo, 50, was pronounced dead on the scene. His 42-year-old female passenger was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
OPP continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
