A Thornhill man has been charged with impaired driving after a serious car crash in Willowdale early Monday morning.
The accident happened at 2 a.m. in the Yonge Street and Finch Avenue area. Police say a driver attempted to pass a bus in the eastbound lane when the car went out of control.
The car ploughed into a house at 49 Finch Avenue West and then bounced off, rolling onto its roof. The impact was so strong, it tore a hole into the home.
The male occupant of the car was not seriously hurt in the crash and managed to crawl out of the vehicle by himself.
Adam Nalli, 24, has been charged by police.
