A suspect is facing charges after a 21-year-old man was fatally struck by a dump truck in Brampton.
The man was hit in the area of Steeles Avenue and Kennedy Road at approximately 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday.
When paramedics arrived at the scene they found the 21-year-old man unconscious and not breathing. He was rushed to hospital as crews attempted to resuscitate him, but he was pronounced dead when crews arrived.
The driver of the dump truck did not remain at the scene.
Sultan Singh Bhamber, 61, has been charged with failure to remain at the scene of an accident causing death.
He is set to appear in court on Dec. 21.
