ORILLIA, Ont. - An 85-year-old cyclist who was hit by an unmarked Ontario provincial police cruiser this week has died.
The Special Investigations Unit says David A. Nesbitt succumbed to his injuries Friday.
The police watchdog says Nesbitt was struck Tuesday afternoon while riding his bike on Atherley Road in Orillia.
He was airlifted to a Toronto hospital.
An autopsy is scheduled for today.
