Police have released images of a suspect after a poppy donation box was stolen from a store in Aurora on Friday.
The donation box was reportedly stolen from a Canadian Tire location at 14700 Yonge St., just north of Henderson Drive, shortly after 9 a.m.
Security cameras captured images of a man they believe to be a suspect being dropped off at the store in an older model red car. He entered the store and walked to an unattended cash register, picked up the poppy box and walked out of the store.
The vehicle has been described as a red Chevrolet Aveo or Pontiac Vibe, and was missing the front passenger's side hubcab on the day of the theft.
The man is white and approximately 5-foot-11, with a heavy build. On Friday, he had a moustache and was wearing a black coat, navy blue shirt and dark coloured pants.
