After hours of work, crews extinguished a fire that engulfed a building in Brampton Sunday afternoon.

At least a dozen fire trucks were on-scene at the industrial blaze, which erupted just before 4 p.m. by Highway 50 just north of Langstaff Road.

A plume of black smoke could be seen from the highway as the blaze spread through an entire building belonging to APRA Truck Line Ltd.

Workers and other people around the facility were evacuated, and roads in the area were closed off while crews battled the fire.

Investigators are unsure what caused the blaze at this time, but Peel police said the incident isn't considered suspicious.
