Ontario police are on the hunt for two suspects who stole a vehicle in Hamilton and led officers on a violent highway chase early Thursday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police said officers spotted what was believed to be a stolen SUV in the Hamilton area at about 12:30 a.m., heading toward Toronto along the Queen Elizabeth Way.
The driver refused to stop for police, exiting the highway at East Port Drive outside Burlington and spinning out.
OPP Const. Graham Williamson said the officers at the scene then attempted to block the vehicle from escape, but the suspects smashed into two cruisers and left, fleeing into the city of Burlington.
Police found the suspect's vehicle parked outside a Burlington high school, but continue to search for two suspects, described as two white males between the ages of 18 and 35.
