RICHMOND HILL, Ont. - Police have laid charges in the stabbing death of a 47-year-old man in Richmond Hill, north of Toronto.
York Regional Police say Thomas Marshall of Coboconk died from his injuries around midnight Tuesday.
He was found in a basement apartment (near Yonge Street and Levendale Road).
A suspect was arrested in a nearby bar shortly afterward.
Joseph Patrick McGratton, 53, of Toronto, is charged with second-degree murder.
He is scheduled to appear in Newmarket court on May 2.
