The shooting occurred at the Garden Restaurant, located at 153 Dundas St. W., just west of Yonge Street, on Nov. 16, 2014. Police were called to the restaurant shortly before 4 a.m., when witnesses reported hearing the sound of gunshots.

When they arrived, they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two women were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, while a man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Tariq Mohammed, 31, of Mississauga.
