A 30-year-old man has been charged in connection with a fatal restaurant shooting that occurred last November.
Police were called to the Garden Restaurant, located at 153 Dundas St. W., just west of Yonge Street, on Sunday, Nov. 16, shortly before 4 a.m.
When officers arrived, they found three victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Two women were taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, while a man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was later identified as Tariq Mohammed, 31, of Mississauga.
On Tuesday, Toronto police said Abdirisak Yusuf Ibrahim, 30, had been charged with first-degree murder and robbery in connection with the case.
The charges filed in January against two other men have been stayed. Marcus Gibson, 22, and Ceyon Carrington, 28, had previously faced several charges in connection with the shooting.
