PICTON, Ont. -- Maybe it was the anchovies.
A Picton-area man is facing charges after someone who said he was a police officer ordered eight pizzas and had them sent to the local provincial police detachment.
It turns out the cops weren't hungry or amused by the prank and sent back the pizzas -- which came with a bill for $130.
An investigation was launched and police looked at security video and telephone records from the payphone where the call was allegedly made.
Patrick McGinnis, 25, faces several charges including personating a police officer and mischief under $5,000.
He was to appear for a bail hearing Monday in Belleville provincial court.
