AJAX, Ont. - Durham regional police say a suspect rammed two parked cruisers before fleeing the scene of a domestic dispute in Ajax, Ont.
Officers who arrived to investigate an incident on Monday parked their vehicles on the roadway and were inside a home when they heard a loud noise.
When the officers went outside to investigate, police say they saw the suspect repeatedly ramming their cruisers with his vehicle.
Both police vehicles were damaged and one had to be towed from the scene.
The suspect was located and arrested without incident a short time later.
The 24-year-old Ajax man faces assault-related offences and is being held for a bail hearing.
