Body found in lake near Toronto's waterfront

Emergency response crews were called to Toronto's waterfront on Thursday after a body was spotted in Lake Ontario.

Toronto police said the body was found at 259 Queens Quay West, near the Habourfront Centre in downtown Toronto, shortly after 8:30 a.m.

The body has been pulled from the water, but no further information was immediately available.
