HALTON HILLS, Ont. - Halton Region police have charged a 20-year-old woman from Mississauga, Ont., in a fatal car crash.
Police say on March 16 in Halton Hills, a car passing another vehicle slammed head-on into an oncoming car.
The passenger in the car that was hit was killed and later identified as Robert Thomas, 44, of Georgetown, Ont.
The driver of that car, Kellie Thompson, 35, also of Georgetown, was airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the passing car, Kristie Johnson, was not hurt.
Police have charged her with careless driving.
