TORONTO - A disabled Via Rail train caused some delays for GO train commuters late in this morning's rush.
The Milton 8:08 to Union Station was delayed by 15 minutes west of Union due to the Via problem.
The Union 8:46 to Aldershot was delayed about 30 minutes, while the Aldershot 10:04 to Union trip was delayed 15 minutes, both due to the Via breakdown.
GO Transit will be offering extra train service for UFC fans on Saturday.
One additional train trip is being added on each of GO's Lakeshore lines for fans heading home from the evening event.
A westbound trip for Aldershot and an eastbound trip for Oshawa will depart Union Station about 30 minutes after the UFC event concludes.
