TORONTO- GO Transit says it was a good day for train commuters, but bus riders faced delays due to the York Region Transit labour dispute.
Picket lines affected bus service at the Finch, York University, Newmarket and Yorkdale stations through the morning rush.
Delays on the routes ranged from 20 minutes to an hour.
GO stopped serving the Newmarket terminal and advised passengers to board route 65, 66 and 69 buses on Eagle Street, south of Davis Drive, in Newmarket.
And the Pickering 7:50 to York University bus trip was cancelled for unspecified reasons, but passengers were accommodated on another bus.
