TORONTO - GO Transit says it will run extra train trips along the Lakeshore lines following the Dec. 10 Ultimate Fighting Championship event in Toronto.

The event is expected to end after the last regularly scheduled trains depart Union Station.

To accommodate passengers, GO will run two special late-night trains -- one east and one west -- departing about 30 minutes after the fight.

GO says the westbound train will make all stops to Aldershot, with a bus connection to Hamilton.

The eastbound train will make all stops to Oshawa with a bus connection to Bowmanville and Newcastle.

The UFC event is expected to draw more than 18,000 people to downtown Toronto.
