TORONTO - A 64-year-old photographer for a Spanish-language newspaper in Toronto is facing 15 sex assault charges relating to six different girls between the ages of seven and 10.
Toronto police originally arrested Pedro Briceno in August and charged him with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
Those charges related to alleged sexual assaults of three girls who were between seven and nine years old.
Then on Oct. 15, a woman reported that 16 years ago, Briceno allegedly sexually assaulted her at a community centre and police charged him with sexual assault, sexual interference and invitation to sexual touching.
Two more people have since come forward alleging Briceno sexually assaulted them 20 years ago in a Toronto apartment complex.
He was charged with two more counts each of sexual assault and gross indecency, and failing to comply with recognizance.
