Toronto police are asking the public to help them find a man wanted on suspicion of sexual assault.
Police say the victim met the accused Thursday in the area of Cosburn and Donlands avenues in the city’s east end, where the assault allegedly took place.
The victim was able to escape and contact police.
Investigators are now looking for Walter MacDonald, 47. He is described as aboriginal, five feet eight inches tall, and clean shaven with long dark hair tied in ponytail.
Police say MacDonald faces charges of aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault with a weapon, and choking.
They say he is considered armed and dangerous. Anyone who sees MacDonald is asked not to approach him and call police immediately at 416-808-7474.
