The second man accused in the 2011 death of a University of Toronto clerk has been extradited to Canada and charged with first-degree murder.

Allan Lanteigne, 49, was found dead inside his Ossington Avenue home on March 3, 2011 after a co-worker grew concerned when Lanteigne failed to show up for work.

In November, police announced that they had arrested Lanteigne’s 32-year-old husband Demitry Papasotiriou for first-degree murder in connection with his death.

At the same time, police also issued an arrest warrant for Mladen Ivezic.

Ivezic, 53, was arrested in Athens in January with the assistance of Interpol and on Friday he was returned to Canada.

Ivezic then appeared in court Saturday, where he was formally charged with first-degree murder.
