Striking York Region Transit and Miller employees have rejected the latest contract offer on Friday.
ATU Local 1587 employees voted 83.4 per cent in favour of rejecting the offer. Only 38 voting employees accepted the offer from York Region Transit.
The dispute between the unions and Miller and York Region Transit has centred on pay and benefits.
The strike, now in its 11th week, affects more than 44,000 York Region commuters daily.
