The Toronto police marine unit is searching for a man who reportedly fell off a boat and disappeared on Lake Ontario.
Witnesses reported seeing a man, in his twenties, fall from the boat at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Humber Bay area.
The incident happened on the “Northern Spirit Yacht”, a boat that takes people out for dinner and party cruises.
The boat aided in the search efforts, but headed back to shore around 10 p.m.
Peel police say their marine unit has also been dispatched to assist in locating the man. Toronto fire is also assisting in the search.
