Police arrested two additional members of the Occupy Toronto movement on Sunday morning, fuelling tensions between officers and the protesters.

The two were apprehended after a demonstration outside Toronto Police Services' 52 Division, on Dundas Street West near Jarvis Street.

Officers charged the pair with mischief and interfering with traffic.

Relations between police and Occupy Toronto appear to be fraying following a clash between officers and four protesters on University Avenue last Friday.

Occupy Toronto alleges four demonstrators -- two men and two women -- were "brutally beaten" after police asked them to dismantle an encampment at 361 University Ave., near Osgoode Hall, on Friday.

Angela Turvey, one of the four protesters involved, says she suffered a fractured eye socket and bruising during the confrontation.

Supporters of Occupy Toronto rallied outside Old City Hall on Saturday afternoon, demanding that police drop charges against the group of four.

The protest later moved to 52 Division, where two additional Occupiers were arrested.
