Peel police have issued a first-degree murder warrant in the fatal shooting of a 23-year-old Mississauga man at a house party over the weekend.
Police are looking for 19-year-old Jason Hay, of no fixed address, in connection with the slaying. Investigators are urging Hay to contact a lawyer and surrender.
David Latchana died after being shot in the head at about 3:45 a.m. at a home in Malton region on Saturday. Police believe the attack followed a shouting match.
Hay is believed to have fled the scene in a dark-coloured vehicle, possibly occupied by two to three other males. The suspect should not be approached as he is considered armed and extremely dangerous.
