TORONTO - A Toronto man faces sexual assault and other charges after two women, aged 18 and 21, were attacked in a stairwell in separate incidents.
In both cases, say police, the victims were lured to meet a man on promises of working as adult entertainers at bachelor parties.
Police say the victims were assured there would be other female performers as well as security at the parties.
They say after meeting with the man, the women were lured into a stairwell, sexually assaulted at knifepoint and robbed.
Ashraf Bouab faces nine charges, including sexual assault with a weapon, forcible confinement, threatening death, robbery and assault.
He is scheduled to appear in court on May 5.
