BRAMPTON, Ont. - NDP Leader Andrea Horwath is slamming her two main rivals for putting their own desire for power over the needs of voters.
Horwath says that while her party's still feeling a lot of momentum, all parties must be ready to work together in the event of a minority government.
It's shocking and disappointing, she adds, the hear Premier Dalton McGuinty and PC Leader Tim Hudak say they're not prepared to work with anyone.
Horwath, who has been coy about the role she would play in the event Ontarians elect a minority government, appeared to be warming up her spot as kingmaker after laying out her priorities for the first 100 days of government.
Her comments come after McGuinty ruled out a coalition or agreement with any other party, saying he was running to win a majority despite the many polls that put the Liberals in a dead heat with the Tories.
Hudak, meanwhile, is warning that a Liberal-NDP coalition would mean higher taxes.
