Justice has waffled.
Charges were dropped Thursday against a disgruntled fan who tossed waffles on to the ice at a Toronto Maple Leafs game to voice his frustration at the perennially underachieving team.
Joseph Robb, 31, of Oakville, Ont. was charged with mischief to property and banned from the Air Canada Centre following the Dec. 20 incident during a game against Atlanta.
Robb agreed to do five hours of community service in return for the charge being dropped.
Back in December, Robb said the charges won't change his life-long love for the team.
"I'm just a normal Leafs fan and love them to death," Robb told CTV Toronto in an interview.
"I don't know, maybe this is what was needed to be done just to keep the attention on them. Because how many years are they going to go (without success)? I'm only 31 and I've been through a lot."
