BURLINGTON, Ont. - A 60-year-old cyclist is in hospital with serious head injuries after a collision with a car in Burlington, Ont.
Halton regional police say the man was riding southbound (on North Shore Boulevard East) on Thursday evening when the collision happened at an intersection (at King Road.)
They say the car -- which was northbound -- was making a left turn.
Neither the driver, a 51-year-old woman, nor her 16-year-old female passenger were hurt.
The area was closed to traffic for several hours while police investigated.
There's no immediate word if charges will be laid.
