Environment Canada predicts sunny skies on Wednesday, with a daytime high that will reach -2 C. The mercury will drop to a low of -6 C overnight, and the weather agency says there is a 60 per cent chance of flurries starting Wednesday night, continuing to Thursday morning.

TRAFFIC

Eastbound lanes of Highway 403 are expected to remain closed until approximately 8 a.m. at Waterdown Road in Burlington, following a fatal crash.

Early Wednesday morning, southbound subway trains were bypassing College Station due to flooding from a watermain break. Northbound service has not been effected, the TTC said.

Layoffs at Tim Hortons headquarters

Tim Hortons announced yesterday that they are laying off employees at its headquarters, located in Oakville, Ont. A spokesperson for the company did not say how many workers will lose their jobs.

The Raptors overcame a sluggish start last night to claim their third straight win leading up to the All-Star break. The Toronto franchise beat the Pacers 104-91.
