Durham Regional Police are searching for a suspect after a robbery at a gas station in Oshawa on Friday.
It happened at the Oshawa Gas Bar on Bloor Street East at around 10:00 a.m.
Police say a suspect, who was concealing his face with a red shirt, entered the store and demanded cash from the attendant.
The suspect, investigators say, stole an undisclosed quantity of cash before he fled the area on foot.
The Durham Regional Police Service K-9 unit was called in to search the area following the incident but did not locate a suspect.
Police describe the suspect as a white male who is between 18 and 25 years old, approximately five-foot-six with a slender build and short black hair. He was last seen wearing a blue and white baseball hat, a blue dress shirt, black jeans and black shoes with a red shirt covering his face.
