Woman dead after vehicle rollover in Scarborough
A woman is dead after her vehicle rolled over in Scarborough Wednesday afternoon. (CTV News Toronto/Craig Wadman)
Police say that a 65-year-old woman is dead after her vehicle rolled over in Scarborough Wednesday afternoon.
It happened in the area of McCowan Road and Alton Towers Circle just after 2 p.m.
At that time, police said, the woman's vehicle was travelling northbound on McCowan Road when it veered right and struck a concrete wall on the east side.
The woman was transported to hospital by Toronto Paramedic Services where she was pronounced dead, police said.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
Police are asking anyone in the area who may have dash cam or surviellance video of the incident to contact them.
