A violent 24 hours in the GTA has police on the hunt for suspects after a slew of stabbings and a shooting left two people dead and three wounded.
At around 1:30 a.m. on Saturday, police found three men in their 20s suffering from stab wounds at a Scarborough house party near Brimley Road and Eglinton Avenue East.
All three victims were sent to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police say none of the victims are co-operating with the investigation.
On Friday, police were called to Jane Street and Finch Avenue in North York just before 8 p.m. where they found a man shot to death in a car.
Police found the man with no vital signs, with obvious gunshot wounds to the head.
Authorities are investigating a nearby public phone booth where they believe a person of interest reported the shooting to police.
The age and identity of the victim have not been released.
Meanwhile, Peel police are investigating the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy who was slain outside a bus shelter in Brampton.
Investigators found the bloodied youth lying on the ground at around 4 p.m. on Friday near Dixie Road and Howden Boulevard.
Police say the youth was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the boy has not been released and authorities have yet to release information on any suspects.
