OAKVILLE, Ont. - One person is dead and another has serious injuries following a crash on eastbound Highway 403 in Oakville, Ont.
The crash occurred at about 8 a.m. near the ramp to the Ford Canada plant and where the highway meets the Toronto-bound Queen Elizabeth Way.
An air ambulance was needed to transport the injured person to hospital. Police have not yet released further details.
Because of the investigation, Toronto-bound traffic is backed up from Oakville west through the Burlington area.
