Toronto police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in the attempted abduction of a five-year-old girl at Broadview subway station earlier this month.
Police said the man tried to abduct the child at the east-end station on Nov. 1.
The girl and her mother had just gotten off a westbound train at about 6 p.m. when the suspect ran up behind them and tried to snatch the girl from her mother's grip, police said.
When the man wasn't able to take the child, he ran off in an unknown direction.
The suspect is described as:
- Black
- Between 30 and 40 years old
- About 5-foot-6
- 140 pounds
He was wearing faded black clothing.
