TORONTO -
Ricky Ray is slowly adjusting to being a Toronto Argonaut.
The veteran quarterback says he was shocked when told by the Edmonton Eskimos he had been dealt to Toronto for quarterback Steven Jyles, kicker Grant Shaw and the second pick in this year's CFL Canadian college draft.
The 32-year-old Ray had spent his entire nine-year CFL career with the Eskimos, helping them capture two Grey Cup titles.
But Ray said during a news conference at the CN Tower today the he's come to terms with the trade and is anxious to begin his tenure with his new team.
Ray joins an Argos squad that missed the CFL playoffs last season for the third time in four years and will sport a new head coach in former Montreal Alouettes assistant Scott Milanovic.
