The writ hasn't even dropped but Progressive Conservative Leader John Tory is already hot on the campaign trail.
Two Tory-blue buses bearing the leader's proud mug rolled into Queen's Park on Monday, a good week before the official start of the Ontario election campaign.
Tory says he's been working hard all summer and is keen to take as much time as he can to get out and meet voters and talk to them about what his party has to offer.
But Liberal Finance Minister Greg Sorbara suggests the Opposition is out early because they know they've got their work cut out for them.
Sorbara suggests voters are unimpressed with the Conservative platform, which was also released well in advance of the other parties which are waiting for the campaign to officially begin.
Sorbara says that according to the voters whose doors he's knocked on, the Conservative campaign is "in very serious trouble'' as many don't like Tory's plan to publicly fund religious schools.
