Toronto police are searching for three suspects after two people were shot Saturday night in separate incidents.

Both shootings took place in North York within two hours of each other.

In the first incident, a man in his 20s was shot in the leg in the Downsview Park area near Keele Street and Sheppard Avenue. The victim is reportedly not co-operating with police, but investigators are looking for two suspects.

A short time later, a 17-year-old girl was shot in the face in her Jane Street and Wilson Avenue neighbourhood. Police arrived on the scene just before 7 p.m. They found the girl in the stairwell on the 17th floor of an apartment building on Chalkfarm Drive.

She was taken to Sunnybrook hospital and is listed in stable condition.

A male suspect in his twenties is still on the loose.
