Toronto police have released the name and a photograph of the city's latest murder victim in hopes more people will come forward with information.
Dwayne Norris Campbell, 27, died after being shot in the head inside an apartment building at 285 Shuter St., near Sherbourne Street, in Moss Park.
Police were called to the building at about 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, where they found Campbell lying in the hallway on the seventh floor. He was rushed to St. Michael's hospital but he was pronounced dead soon after arriving.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the building during the early evening hours, who may have heard or seen anything unusual, or anyone who might have seen Campbell on the night of the homicide, to contact them at 416-808-7400, Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477), or go online at www.222tips.com.
