A woman was sexually assaulted early Saturday morning as she was waiting for a bus in east-end Toronto.
Toronto police say the woman was in the area of O'Connor Road and Trimontium Crescent, speaking on her cellphone using an earpiece when she was attacked from behind.
The victim screamed and fought back as she was grabbed, dragged to the ground and sexually assaulted, police said Sunday.
She managed to escape her attacker as a male suspect fled the scene, heading west on Taylor Drive into the ravine area.
The victim described the suspect as:
- Male, white
- Approximately 30 years
- 5' 9"
- 180 - 200 lbs
- Short blond hair with a very close-cut style
- About 1-day growth of facial hair
- Wearing black puffy jacket and blue jeans
- White shoes
