Toronto police are looking for a driver who fled the scene of a fatal hit-and-run involving a cyclist in Yorkville Saturday night.
The collision happened on Avenue Road near Davenport Road, around 11:30 p.m.
Police say the car struck a male cyclist and failed to remain on scene.
The cyclist, 26, was found without vital signs and pronounced dead in hospital.
Officers are now looking for a 2010-2014 White Hyundai with front end and windshield damage.
Police say the vehicle had more than one occupant at the time of the crash. It was seen driving northbound on Avenue Road before getting onto Highway 401 eastbound.
Officers are speaking with witnesses on scene and would like to speak to the car's passengers.
The road was closed following the crash but has since reopened.
